Acai berries have quickly become the biggest buzz in weight loss. Is it all hype? There is no doubt this small berry is a superfood powerhouse. But can it help with weight loss?
The acai, pronounced ah-sigh-EE, is a traditional superfood sourced from the Amazon rainforest of Brazil. It is a small purple berry from he fruit of a palm tree that grows in the rainforests of the Amazon. The Brazilians call this tree the "tree of life.”
There is no doubt this superfood berry has an exceptionally high concentration of natural antioxidants to help counter the damaging effects of the environment. Taking acai may help you feel healthier and reduce the signs of ageing.
However this berry superfood is probably not a ‘magic diet supplement’. One of my concerns is the newly released acai weight loss formulas also include stimulants such as guarana to boost metabolism.
It is much easier to reach your ideal weight by following a natural weight loss diet. When you eat well and exercise regularly you will look and feel great!
